The girl is the only one in the world. That made her the god of this world.
She found herself on an island when she began to understand things around her. There was no one else there. She had nothing to do. That was everything the world offered.
The island was small, and one could go around it in half a day by foot. Stretching as far as she could see in a 360-degree view at the beach, there was only the sea, the clouds, and the horizon. But she almost died several times because of sickness and injuries. In most cases, she almost got herself killed by eating either spoilt food or plants and inorganic things around her.
There was a castle on the island. There was a huge amount of preserved foods inside the warehouse of the castle, so she did not have to starve. There was a mountain of books that one could never finish in a lifetime. Those things were her world. The books were all about humans. "Humans cannot live by themselves." That sentence was everywhere in the books. But the girl was alone. She continued to live despite being alone, neither laughing nor crying. She did not need anything that was written to be important. She was deciding. She was finishing. In the history of man, she was the first human to be balanced. The statistical balance of a single person is identical with one's self. That is why everything she does is correct. But at the same time, everything might be wrong.
There was a mansion on the island, which was connected to the old castle by a passageway. She used the mansion as a residential area, and almost never set her foot in the old castle. There was no particular reason to draw a line between the two structures. It was only a rational judgment that the old castle was unfit for her to live in.
She did not know why, for what purpose, these structures, which completely seemed to be unfit in the environment, were built there. She did not need to know why. And besides, the girl never wondered why because she had been there before she realised.
One day the girl made a fire at the beach. That was because there was a scene in a book where a stranded person made a fire. In the deep blue sky, a straight white road climbed up. She thought, "Maybe its the same as the clouds." So she put her head in it, and her mouth and eyes became really painful. In haste, she moved away and gazed at it from a distance. She then understands that it is useless to her. Just like that, she begins to understand things one by one. She understood the meaning of understanding.
She painted a human being. The girl painted a figure of a boy. So, she decided to add a figure of a boy into paintings of landscapes she had painted. With no specific reason, she kept those paintings in the same places where she painted them. Soon, there was not a single place on that island she had not painted. She was always with the boy everywhere she went. It meant that the girl and boy looked at each other every time she looked at the paintings. However, the girl had no feeling of achievement. "Would it be a human?", she thought. This was the painting of a human being. He did not move nor think. He was simply there. "Lonely?" Finally, she could ask herself by finding the word. She was not lonely. The girl spent a lot of time looking at the painting. Looking at the boy in the painting gave her a strange feeling. "I want to marry him." For some reason or another she thought about that. In a book, she found out a lot about marriage. Inside, it was written that it was important how people lived their lives. The girl was interested in how the ideals of marriage worked and carefully studied it.
The next day, the girl married. She wore a dress she found in the castle. In her head, to the words, "Will you accept the vow of matrimony?", she answered yes. Then, she touched lips with the boy in the painting. It was oily. She then took some flowers to use as a bouquet and tossed it. A feast was properly prepared. It was a party to some degree. But due to the tightness of the dress around her waist, there was much that was leftover. The girl took the bouquet, dress, and leftover food and tossed them over a cliff like garbage and went to sleep. Thus the wedding ended.
The girl started to practise painting the next day after the wedding ceremony. Despite the marriage, there was only one human on this side of the paintings. So, she started painting herself into the paintings. She painted everything into the paintings. In that painted world, there were two humans smiling at each other. She felt strange when she looked at herself in the paintings. She didnt really understand that feeling. However, she continued with her curiosity...
Something mysterious happened. It was the day after she repainted all her paintings, hundreds in number. The two in those paintings had moved. But it did not startle the girl, because she had no idea of asking herself whether it was abnormal or not. From the beginning, she was trying to create humans. Did it work? The god looked inside the miniature garden. She looked closely at the paintings. The two in the pictures seemed to be doing something, smiling at each other.
But the paintings were blurred. The world itself appeared blurred, giving her no clue as to what they were doing. "Why?", the girl thought. She could not confirm results. She could not see what was supposed to be there. A strange feeling developed inside her mind. She could not describe what it was. She could not find in a dictionary the definition of something she could not describe. Why did the paintings become so blurred even though she had painted them so clearly? But the two in the painting were smiling at each other. That was what she felt. She repainted them over and over, but the results were exactly the same. She was at a loss. She began to be unsure about everything.
So, the god thought she should make her world cleaner. She burnt all the paintings. She set fire to the old castle. She burnt all her memories. Lastly, the god, the only trash left in the world, threw herself off the cliff...
The girl is the only one in the world. That made her the god of this world.
